temporary blending setback

with recent theorems on blends for the home machine in mind, i’ve decided the yirg’s affinity for the cooler brewing temps makes it (a) unlikely to blend well with more temp-typical beans, and (b) unlikely to perform well on my specific machine, even if the blend did work for more stable groups. with simplicity and a tolerance for temp variance the aims, this yirg won’t cut it. the bad news: i start over on my long-prolonged blending effort. the good news: i get to use the whole 20-pound bag as a delectable single-origin mainstay!
