actually, dan kehn and i set this up. i would generate some sort of multi-update post that used thinly veiled (read: juvenile) reasons to repeatedly link to his site in return for cheery props in his “favorite bloggers” thread! it’s like a sony payola scandal without the panting press coverage! because, really — who in our niche bloggy echo chambers really cares about journalism ethics? or even what i say about it?
p.s. seriously, dan. thanks for the extra hits. at long last, they now outnumber my espresso machines. also: lest anyone take his “a delightful blending of…” comment seriously, just know that there are folks who do it way better. i mean, seriously. anyone who reads lileks very much knows that even his most idle musings carry the wit of oscar wilde in the pleistocene age. he makes me cry scalding tears of envy, then mops them up with google’s blog-post cache.
