  2. Glad I’m not the only one that gets children involved at an early age. Truly an enjoyable read whenever I drop-by. Keep up the razor sharp writing.

  3. Better put a block on this site so DSS won’t hold this evidence against you. If they do get you, I got dibs on the isomac and the mazzer major. We’ll take good care of your wife while you’re gone.I can picture it now . . . early in your child’s highschool pilgrimage, when she has a tolerance that could put an Irishman under the table, she’ll be pulling shots from your isomac intravenously while you blog about how many red bulls it takes to keep you awake in between meals.

As for me, as I know you’re wondering, I am thoroughly enjoying Miss Silvia. Broke down and got a gran mancinino (maybe italian for great machine?) You gotta come back to the homestead for a seminar. Otherwise, I’m likely to od from pulling too many shots and not having the heart to pour them down the drain!

Meanwhile, until we meet again, I will remember you and your hillbilly context while I enjoy the Chicago-based coffee offerings posted in your previous comments.

you assume my ladye would part with it. ;)

    >I’m likely to od from pulling too many shots and not having the heart to pour them down the drain!

nah. you’ll be a snob soon enough.

    >I will remember you and your hillbilly context while I enjoy the Chicago-based coffee offerings

yeah, yeah. this blog has long bemoaned its peerless wasteland. go ahead, rub it in.

glad to hear ’bout the newfound sublimity. the coolest part is that, two years from now, it will still be getting better.

  5. btw, thanks, shaun. always humbling to realize who is reading, and why. judging by your blog, you look like something of a nut case yourself. ;)

  6. p.s. nate: my handy mac widget tells me you’re nearly correct. “gran macinino” means “large mill.”
