phil: i saw. although cigaragay hinted at the meat thing after april’s usbc. funny.
mike: i know, i know. it seems so stupid. but i was testing the new pump, which requires the machine to be plugged in and one to manually hold down the tank shut-off switch. what it does not require, however, is for your other hand to be resting on the boiler….

I had a similar experience while installing a new p-stat. In the moments right after the zap, it’s amazing how fast the adrenaline gets your mind running through things like, “I think my life insurance is paid up” and “Gee, this is going to look really dumb in the newspaper”
