nice!

the machine is an isomac tea -- once about the best thing a home user could pine for, and now a middling chrome box that makes good spro, if you know what you're doing. i've put an obscene numer of miles on it.

Poor tree. Why not keep them both? I used to have a coffee tree at my farm here in the Philippines and its nice to know you can keep a coffee tree indoors. Great post! By the way, what is the brand of your great looking espresso machine?

Hi there, funny story for you. I've been lurking your blog for a few months now. Somehow blogging and journalism came up in conversation with a coworker yesterday and he mentioned your blog... my coworker is your brother Samuel!
All the best from St. Charles,
Renee

I think it's unfair that the coffee machine gets so many coffee beans while the tree has not been able to produce any. You should tax the machine 50% of all beans ground and mulch them into the tree pot.

I say let the tree live and watch it combine with the grinder to become a all-in-one grinder and coffee cherry grower. Its what all the home barista will want eventually.
